    When he founded GR8 Recruitment in 2018, those habits came with him. The business grew. But the way Lee led it didn't change - because in a founder-led business, nobody tells the founder.

    Commonwealth Games Scotland

    The Leadership Trust’s bespoke courses reinforced Team Scotland’s strong attributes and taught them the leadership skills they needed to be successful. The investment paid off after they smashed their record for medals with 53 in total (19 Gold, 15 Silver and 19 Bronze).

    Team Scotland’s performance at Glasgow 2014 was so successful that it is still referred to as a benchmark by Commonwealth Games Scotland for future games.

    Goodpack 2

    Goodpack struggled with high staff turnover and gaps in communication. Lester Tyra, an executive with 30 years of experience in the chemical and supply chain industries, joined GoodPack as their Chief Human Resources Officer to help address these issues.

    After completing the personalised leadership coaching programme, Lester implemented a new approach to team leadership, turning his team into a more collaborative and efficient unit.

    The programme has had a profound impact on Peter’s life, influencing his business decisions and personal relationships. By investing in self-improvement and prioritising leadership development, WashCo was able to achieve a stronger company culture and increased morale.

    Following the programme, he has driven the business to its current position as the UK’s second largest supplier of laundry equipment, with a total of 115 staff and a turnover of £18m.

    As a result of the partnership with the Leadership Trust, positive cultural behaviour among teams inspired collective problem-solving and reinforced successful outcomes. The sales team underwent a significant transformation, gaining confidence, resilience, and new techniques to effectively handle difficult client conversations. Additionally, escalations to the CEO decreased significantly, and the team demonstrated a clear understanding of the company’s long-term goals.
