We believe that better leadership skills make for better organisations. During the past few months, we have provided online spaces to celebrate exemplary leadership and provide an informal space for participants to ask questions and gain advice. Our webinars were all recorded, enabling those unable to watch and interact with the live sessions, to still enjoy and learn in their own time.

Women in Leadership:

This is a series created by Leadership Trust designed to take a deeper delve into Leadership and celebrate the contribution of Women Leaders across a range of industries. We kicked it off in the best way – on none other than International Women’s day 2021!

We have interviewed a wide range of influential women, each with their own Leadership experiences.

International Women’s Day Panel

We were joined by Leyla Okhai, Founder of Diverse Minds, Reena Rai, Marketing expert, and Emile Cleret, the head of English Studies at Ecole Militaire. Our panel offered an honest and frank breakdown of the hurdles they had faced throughout their leadership journey to date. The audience were able to ask for advice on topics close to their own leadership journeys and we also celebrated the multi-faceted roles women lead daily.

Changing Career Paths with Chennara Edghill- Peart

Chenaara Edghill-Peart is a Montessori School owner and Directoress. She opened the doors to Peart’s Montessori in the middle of a global pandemic after leaving her successful role within Law to retrain in Montessori teaching. She shares what this journey looked like, including what leadership looked like within the Law profession in comparison to her current role within Education and as a business owner.

Leading when you have no career climbing ambitions with Anne-Marie Saheb

Anne-Marie Saheb is a French-Canadian – Egyptian Actress. She is a self-proclaimed “non-ambitious hierarchically challenged administrative assistant” as well as the Artistic Co-Director of an artist founded company, set up in 2011. Anne-Marie shares her experiences of leadership within the corporate world and ways in which everyone is capable of leading regardless of their position within an organisation.

‘Embracing the Unconventional’ with Paulina Tenner

Paulina is an entrepreneur, an angel investor, an author, a TEDx speaker and a founder of GrantTree, started with the purpose of helping tech startups to navigate the complex world of government funding. Paulina shares her experience of “Embracing the Unconventional” and offers Leadership tips to the audience.

“Everybody is a leader in their own right. I believe we’re all leaders of how we want to live our lives, and also believing in the importance to find in your own leadership, a space where you can compromise” – Paulina Tenner 

Leadership in Management – Lunch and Learn

The Leadership in Management programme is our most popular and longest-running course offered by Leadership Trust. It is a 5-day residential programme which is much loved by organisations around the world. In this lunch and learn, we were able to speak with three of our highly experienced Course Directors, all of whom had not only run the programme for a number of years but had experienced being a delegate on it too.

Leadership with Sean Flaherty

We had the pleasure of speaking to Sean. Sean is an entrepreneur, public speaker, and EP of innovation at ITX, and he joined us to speak about all things Leadership.

In the interactive Zoom session, Sean delved into the key functions of good leadership and shared some of his key findings and models from a lifetime of study and experience. What is Leadership? What are the Leadership Lessons Sean has taken away throughout this career? Who are the best examples of history’s Great Leaders? – These are all things that were covered throughout the session.
