Léa and Ann ensure that Leadership Trust remains a healthy and happy company.
Léa has a Ph.D. in Philosophy; specialising in Ethics in Sport, with a special focus on the misuse of performance enhancing substances. This led her to spend close to a decade working with athletes on large scale behaviour change programmes with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Léa was then asked to expand her mandate into the field of conducts which breach sport integrity, in particular, match-fixing. During this mandate, she gained first-hand experience of the importance of Leadership and Governance. Exemplary behaviour cannot be required from athletes if the decision-makers in the governing bodies are not held to the same standards. Léa first encountered Leadership Trust during the development of a ground-breaking pilot programme aimed at enabling administrators to “feel” what being groomed for corruption was like. Observing Leadership Trust’s experiential methodology and quality of implementation gained her respect, as well as its agile and high-performing staff. This made joining the organisation irresistible.
Ann has worked for Leadership Trust for over 22 years, developing her role as the PA to the Chief Executive, to include more specialist areas to support the business including Human Resources, Corporate and Contracting. At Leadership Trust, people sit at the heart of everything we do. We treasure the contribution of our employees, and as part of her HR role, Ann keeps this value well and truly at the top of the agenda. Having gained a Diploma for Languages in Business from Wolverhampton Polytechnic (now Wolverhampton University), she has had a diverse and enjoyable career, gaining invaluable experience working in varied roles across industry, commerce and society. At 18, she gained her Private Pilot’s Licence. She relishes living in the beautiful Wye Valley, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the home of Leadership Trust, where she can pursue her love of walking, dogs, Flora and Fauna, and gorgeous places to visit and eat out.
